Regal Port Douglas Cancellation Policy

Regal Port Douglas strongly recommends travel insurance.

Standard Bookings

Low Season

  • Minimum 7 days prior to arrival, balance refundable.
  • Cancellation within 7 days, Non-refundable.
  • Early departures are non-refundable.

High Season

  • Minimum 14 days prior to arrival, balance refundable
  • Cancellation within 7 days, Non-refundable.
  • Early departures are non-refundable.

Group Bookings (2 or more apartments)

  • Please refer to the reservation cancellation terms quoted prior to or at the time of reservation.

Package Deals

  • Full package: Minimum 7 days prior to arrival. An administration fee of $100 applies with balance refundable.
  • Tour Operator cancellations: If a tour operator cancels a booked tour, the guest is entitled to a refund of the wholesale cost price paid by Regal Port Douglas to the Tour Operator.
  • Tour cancellations by guest: Minimum 24 hours notice prior to tour departure is required. The guest is entitled to a refund at the wholesale cost price paid by Regal Port Douglas less $50 administration fee.
  • Early departures are non-refundable.

Gift Vouchers

  • No refunds are payable. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months.

No Shows

  • If you do not show up for your reservation you will be charged a 100% cancellation fee and will be required to pay Regal Port Douglas the full amount of your booking.

Non-Refundable Deals/Bookings

  • No refunds are payable.

COVID19 RELATED CANCELLATIONS:

DOMESTIC
If travel restrictions are imposed by government, the booking may be modified or cancelled free of charge if Regal Port Douglas is given a minimum of 48hrs notice prior to scheduled arrival. A credit will be issued and will remain valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Bookings made with credit are non-refundable.
Cancellations received within 48 hours of your scheduled check-in time will incur 100% cancellation fee and the full amount of the booking will be charged.

INTERNATIONAL
If travel restrictions are imposed by government, the booking may be modified or cancelled free of charge if Regal Port Douglas is given a minimum of 14 days notice prior to scheduled arrival. A credit will be issued and will remain valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Bookings made with credit are non-refundable.
Cancellations received within 14 days of your scheduled check-in time will incur 100% cancellation fee and the full amount of the booking will be charged.

BOOKING CREDIT

  • If you have been issued with Booking Credit to be applied to future accommodation or accommodation package bookings with Regal, such credit will remain valid for twelve months from the day the booking is cancelled.
  • Booking Credit may only be used to pay for the accommodation portion of your booking and may not be used for non-accommodation items such as transfers or tours.
  • Package Credit may only be used to pay for the same or similar package. Differences in the cost of package deals will be payable if a different Package is chosen and/or for seasonal prices and/or other price increases.
  • Any Booking Credit not redeemed at the expiry of the 12 month validity date will be forfeited in its entirety to Regal Port Douglas.
  • All booking credits are non-refundable.
